Prayer of Salvation

Brad Brede Ministries is all about promoting excellence in life and ministry. Therefore, we pray that you will come to the realization that there cannot be any real excellence in life without becoming intimately acquainted with God and following His ways. You can strive for excellence in business, home, family, and other areas of life, but without knowing God your striving is futile.

Matthew 16:26 says, "For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" The temporal things of this world cannot satisfy the longing of a hungry soul to find real meaning in life. The truth is that the world just does not have much to offer that can bring lasting peace, joy, and fulfillment. Only Jesus Christ has the power to make a real difference in your life.

God demonstrated His love for us by sending His Son into the world. The Bible says in John 3:16-17, "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved." This salvation is available to whoever will receive it. Romans 10:13 says, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

We are not talking about joining some church
or religion, but entering into an intimate
relationship with God. You can fill a void in
your life by getting to know the one who
created you, and walking according to His
plans and purposes, thereby realizing and
enjoying the destiny God has for you.

There is a peace in Christ that the world can't
give (John 14:27; Philippians 4:7). There is a
victory in Christ that overcomes the world
(1 John 5:4; 1 Corinthians 15:57). There is an
incredible life that God has prepared for you
(Ephesians 2:10). God loves you very much
and His Son has prepared the way for you to
walk in all His blessings. However, you must
choose to lay your life down and follow Him.
It is only then that you will begin to experience real excellence in life.

It all begins by believing in Jesus and making Him your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9 says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Jesus Christ came to pay the price for our sins and give us a means of success in life. He died for us and all He is asking is that we live for Him. If you believe the Easter story and want to make Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life then please pray this prayer out loud and your life will be changed forever:

"Lord, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I believe that Jesus came to this earth to die for my sins, He was raised from the dead, and lives today as Lord and Savoir of the world. I ask you to forgive me of all my sins. I am making a commitment now to live my life for You. I receive you into my life as my Lord and Savior. I will never be the same. Thank you for saving me. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen."

There is so much that He has planned for you. Be determined to discover all you can about Him and His plan for your life. Take time to pray daily and search the scriptures for truth.
